Things to do in and around Le Peux

We are quite rural, the nearest small supermarket is about 20 minutes away. The main shopping town of La Souterraine is about 35 minute drive. There are plenty of things to do such as hiking, canoeing, fishing and cycling and lots of interesting places to visit. Lac St Pardoux where you will find a range of water sports, swimming pool, boats and beaches. Canoeing about 30 minutes away. The towns of Le Dorat, Montmorillon, Bellac, Montrol Senard, Mortemart, Oradour sur Glane are all easily reached by car. We also have a Buddhist Retreat within 20 minute drive that is well worth a visit.
